March 2026 — We have moved and are restocking from Japan

What Has Changed

Earlier this year, Japan Scissors relocated our warehouse to be closer to our Japanese suppliers. This move is now complete and allows us to:

  • Source directly from Japan with shorter lead times
  • Ship express to NZ via our trans-Tasman network
  • Carry more inventory across all brands and sizes
  • Offer faster restocking when popular models sell out

📦 Current Stock Status

A large restock shipment from our Japanese suppliers is currently in transit. Most delayed models are expected to arrive mid-to-late March 2026.

Some popular Mina, Ichiro and Juntetsu models are temporarily out of stock or available on backorder. If a product shows "Backorder", you can still place your order and it will be dispatched as a priority when stock arrives.

  • All Yasaka models — in stock and shipping
  • All Joewell models — in stock and shipping
  • All Jaguar models — in stock and shipping
  • All Kasho models — in stock and shipping
  • All Feather razors and blades — in stock and shipping
  • Many Ichiro, Mina and Juntetsu models — check individual product pages for availability

Backorder Information

If a product or size you want is available on backorder:

  • You can place your order now at the current price
  • Your order will be dispatched as a priority when stock arrives
  • We will email you with a shipping update and tracking
  • You can cancel for a full refund at any time before dispatch

If a product shows "Sold Out" with no backorder option, that model is temporarily unavailable. Please email us and we can notify you when it is back in stock.
